Tampa, FL, Nov 18: Students across the globe participated in a six-hour-long race to compete for EC-Council’s Global Ethical Hacker Leaderboard. The October 2021 roster is populated with C|EH Master candidates from South Asia, the Middle East, the U.S., Scandinavia, and Central, Northern, and Western Europe. This internationally inclusive competition determines the highest-performing C|EH Master, offering all candidates an equal opportunity to showcase their skills and earn the coveted ranking to enhance their profiles.
EC-Council promotes the top 10 C|EH Master candidates every month. To qualify for the program, students first must earn the C|EH and C|EH Practical certifications. EC-Council’s C|EH program enables cybersecurity practitioners to aid organizations in fortifying their systems and combating cybercrime. The program has transformed the perception of ethical hacking as something that is restricted to those from the technical field to a domain that is open to all who are interested in leaving their mark in cybersecurity.
The Leaderboard standings for October 2021 display a diverse presence of ethical hackers working in a range of sectors, including banking, telecommunications, government, and more from all over the world. The top position is currently held by Rajapandian Rajagopal from Singapore.
Rajapandian, who currently works with the Cyber Security Agency of Singapore (CSA) as the Systems Engineer, topped the leaderboard with a score of 89. He also maintains one of the fastest completion times for the C|EH Practical exam at a record of 1:59:00 for the month. “My favorite part of the C|EH Practical course,” says Rajapandian, “was being able to test my acquired skills in a real-life-based scenario. The curriculum is immensely relevant to the current cyber outlook and threat landscape.”
Today, anyone can build a successful career in ethical hacking, regardless of their professional background or location. The hands-on training provided by EC-Council’s C|EH program offers a flexible, accredited, and 100% online curriculum to enable aspirants to hone their skills in cybersecurity. With a plethora of learning options, students can seamlessly transition into the field by pursuing the certification at their own schedule and convenience.
